Steve Bell

Steve BellSteve is currently the National Director of Interserve in England & Wales having served in the Middle East for ten years.

He has worked with Muslim issues for over 30 years, studying theology and Islamics at Nottingham University and Evangelical Seminary Cairo; cross-cultural mission studies at All Nations Christian College and Southern Cross College Sydney.

He has previously directed Carey College and Action Partners. He was chair of ACROSS which works into South Sudan and he also led Urban Vision, Interserve’s cross-cultural team in Britain.

He is a speaker at Spring Harvest, Keswick and New Wine speaker and author of ‘Friendship First’ (Kitab Resources, 2002) ‘Grace for Muslims’ (Authentic Media, 2006). and ‘Gospel for Muslims’ (Authentic Media, 2012). He co-edited with Colin Chapman Between Naivety & Hostility (Authentic Media, 2011).

Steve is married to Julia, a senior teacher in a highly multi-cultural school and they are owned by two mentally deranged Siamese cats called Habiba (Bibi) and Israh (Izzy).
